Take a horseback tour of the last working quicksilver mine in the Big Bend area. As we wind our way through the remnants of the once lively mining industry, we get a taste of the ambitious hopes of settlers now past. We then continuing through the water shed and skirt along the base of forbidding mountains that gives us a sense of the pioneer spirit that settled this land.
The day just gets better! A tour of the old quicksilver mine and then a ride up onto Ocotillo Mesa for great views of the Chisos Mountains and Big Bend National Park. Top your ride by arriving at the perfect viewing spot to see the Indian Head pictographs.
